Good Evening indeed, fellow Veegers. It's time to turn the lights down low, light some candles if you have them, and pull out your collection of the most intriguing, creepy, and mysterious tales of madmen and the macabre in Rock-N-Roll and other genres of music at your disposal. The Winter blues and other happenings have driven me batty and it's as good a time to let them out of the belfry as I can think of...gotta make room for the new arrivals, ya know. The theme for these terrible treasures is in the thread title so get out your shovels and start digging. For those here that are a bit on the squeamish side it's Open Thread, so feel free to provide a bit of comic relief during the weirdness with other fine Rock songs that you know. Viktor's just replaced some parts and lubed up the rack for those that choose not to follow our House Rules, and he's eager to try it out. Have a great time, everybody!

Good evening my friends and welcome to the Saturday night edition of Triple V. Tonight, let's turn our focus on songs and bands that reference one of the five senses in the title... Sight or Hearing...
Touch, Taste or Smell...
And if you want to drift off thread...just make sure you get a signed note from infa,,,,hahahaha. Ya'll know me better than that. Have fun, play good tunes and relax. That's why we're here,,, Yeah thats right, it's Free Ride Friday! The Jukebox is set on "free play" and the ride is on the house. VVV has the most selections of Rock tunes on this side of the Mississippi. I ain't jivin'! Go ahead just type in one of your favorite songs, hit play, then copy and paste it here. I guarantee you'll wanna crank it up and bring the house down. If all that mumbo jumbo up top made no sense to you, then let me clarify. Tonight is Open Thread Friday Night/Saturday Play whatever Rock songs you wish to share. Post a funny meme, gif, or pic. Tell us about one of your favorite concerts you attended. Those always rock! One last thing before we open the doors. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND You can't pick your family but you can pick friends to be part of your family. During these crazy times when we are supposed to stay home with family, sometimes that can be hard on the nerves, Let's chill out with our our online family and friends and post some tunes by rock bands that have relatives in them. Here's a few to get us started.. Kings of Leon, The Kinks, the Bee Gees, INXS, Dire Straits, Creedence Clearwater Revival Devo, ACDC, Halestorm, Pantera/Damageplan, Greta Van Fleet, Van halen, Allman Bros. Heart, Let's post songs with family members in the title or lyrics as well....Have a safe and peaceful weekend with your family or spend it with your Triple V family and get crazy!!! Peace, Love and Rock n Roll!
Howdy, famiglia! Tonight, its all about questions. Songs that ask...
Life is all about questions, and our music reflects that...sometimes we question ourselves...
Sometime we questions others... So...ask away! Tonight's thread is self explanatory. Songs that ask a question. Now there's nothing wrong with going off thread...as long as your tune is top notch! Point is, we're all just lookin' to sit back and chill to some good music. After all...that's why we're here....right? Hehehe The eternal battle between Good and Evil has raged on throughout the history of Mankind and we are in the middle of it all. Whether we like it or not, we must always be vigilant against this Scourge. I believe our best chance, here at VVV is to arm ourselves with a cache of Rock & Roll! So, what I propose is a constant assult of Rock tunes of Good and Evil. Post songs about Good and evil or songs with Keywords such as: Angel , Bless , Creed, Dark , Demon , Devil , Envy , Evil , Faith , Fall , Free Will , Good , Hate , Heaven , Hell , Hope , Light , Love , Lust , Pride , Right , Rise , Satan , Sin , Soul , Wrath , Wrong , and many more. If fighting the battle between good and evil isnt for you,, I can dig that! Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread . Meaning, post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about your favorite rock concert you ever attended. One last thing before we get started. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND We might not be able to hop on a train or a plane but we can still travel the world through songs and our imaginations. We can create a musical travelogue by posting songs about going places and the means we use to get there... Songs about the beaches, islands, mountains, prairies and deserts, rivers, lakes and bayous that we might pass along the way... And songs about the cities, states, provinces and countries that we might like to visit. In the mood to stay home and look at the walls? That's cool. It's always an open thread at The Triple V so just play your favorite songs. We'll send you some postcards. Please Recommend! It's time to let the vocalists rest their pipes for a while and put the spotlight on instrumentals! From Link Wray's Rumble getting banned from AM radio on 1958 (but still remaining a huge hit), The Shadows' Apache in 1960, to The Tornadoes' Telstar and The Chantays' Pipeline in 1962, a good solid instrumental was a proven hit in the rock-n-roll marketplace. In the late 60s and early 70s, instrumentals were a favorite of Progressive Rock bands and that led to Jazz/Rock-Fusion from the mid-70s on. Of course we can't forget the Swing and Jazz classics of the 30s and 40s either, so they're included too! C'mon now - show us whatcha got and throw down some fine instrumental tunes for everyone to enjoy!
It's our usual Open Thread, so if you don't wanna post any instrumentals, put up whatever good Rock songs you like. All we ask is for you to play by our rules and have a great time while you're here! Today it's not only Open thread-it's Closed thread and Off & On thread. Post some cool tunes with any of those words in the title or lyrics. This song by Halestorm has Off and On it the lyrics and title-Xtra points for me!! Hope everyone is staying safe and sane out there. Laughter and music and good friends and loved ones are the crazy glue that will hold us together through anything. Have a great weekend!! Peace, Love and Rock n Roll!
