Tonight is the Harvest Moon so the theme for this thread will be gardens, homesteads, ranches and farms... ... the Food that grows on that land... ... the Earth, the Sun and the Moon... ... the seasons... ... and any other songs you feel like playing. Take it where you will. Please Recommend!

When it comes to the 1970s and 1980's Rock n Roll bands and hair, size definitely mattered. The bigger the better. A few of the good ones that come to mind...Def Leopard, White Snake, Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, Skid Row, Kiss, Dokken, Europe, Van Halen, Slaughter, Poison, Aerosmith and on and on So, let's post some tunes from bands and singers with big hair and/or glam makeup from 1970s and 1980s and see how they 'measure up'.. It was all about the hair and makeup and rock n roll. The 80's left us with some classic songs that still sound fresh today.. Crank that volume up to 13. If you aren't into the 1980's, big hair and glam rock--What is wrong with you???? LOL.. That's cool too, so just play whatever music you like, we would love to hear it. 70s and 80s are ground zero for our theme today but feel free to post songs from any decade, 'cause every day is open thread on VVV ..thanks for stopping by and being part of our 24-7, 365 days a year party.
Feel free to sing along and dance... YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!!!!! It's all about the people, folks. You, me, and everyone else here at ground zero. Let's dedicate this thread to We The People, Those Who Rock! Post songs about people or persons or songs with names, occupations, or pronouns in the title. If you are like me and dig critters more than people, well, I can dig that. Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about your favorite concert going experiences. Those always rock! One last thing before we open the doors. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. Howdy all! I'm still getting used to opening the week and not closing it down. Let's take a road trip...destination unknown. Looking for tunes with the name of a street, highway, town, city, country, places...I think you get the point. Songs about your final location, or how you got there!
Not too hard, right? Let's face it, we've got the whole work week ahead of us, so let's keep things simple. And if you want to head someplace off thread...you have our blessing. We're here to enjoy music, not judge it. Ok then...buckle up... Joe's Garage is open Courtesy of Vintage Vinyl Video Since we're coming up on the Autumn Equinox, this weekend's theme is all about Color. Yellows, reds, orange and browns... the colors of Autumn trees... and the coniferous trees that are green all year long. Also blues, pinks and purples, black, white and shades of gray... ...songs with Rainbow and Color in the title, like this one... ... and songs by bands that are named for colors. This one's a three-fer. As most of you know, it's always an open thread at The Triple V so don't hesitate to play songs that have nothing to do with the theme. Please Recommend! The fight or flight phenomenon is a physiological reaction to a stressful or frightening event. A survival instinctive response, if you will. My solution in dealing with this threat is to arm yourself with a very potent weapon against stress and fear, earphones and endless jams! Post songs about fighting or fleeing. Standing your ground or giving in to fear. If you don't like the options of fighting or fleeing, I can dig that. Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about your favorite concert going experience. Those always Rock! One last thing before we make that choice. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. ¸¸♬·¯·♪·¯·♫¸¸ 𝓟𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓮 𝓡𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓭¸¸♫·¯·♪¸♩·¯·♬¸¸ Good evening all! No...don't check your calendar...it's Sunday night. We've done some shuffling her at Triple V. For the time being, instead of opening the Garage to start the weekend, I'll be closing it down and starting the work week. Let's rock out to tunes that focus on the five senses! Hearing Sight Taste
Smell Touch
Not too tough, right? Now ya'll know me by now. If you want to go off thread, then that's fine too. Just play what you want to hear. I'd like to hear it to! Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... Joe's Garage is open! Courtesy of Vintage Vinyl Video! Thought we'd spend the weekend playing songs about bad love and broken hearts... ... about falling in love with someone who doesn't treat you right... ... songs about those cads and trollops who might try to take your sweetie away... ... and songs about sweet revenge. Never had your heart broken? Or maybe you don't want to think about it? That's cool. Just play your favorite songs. It's always an open thread at The Triple V. Recommend! The five basic elements that make up our universe, Fire, Earth, Water, Wood, and Metal, are the five different types of energy that are in a state of constant interaction and Flux with one another. These five elements have everything to do with why the universe rocks! Let's pay homage to these five very important elements of our universe by posting songs about Fire(heat, flame, burn, etc), Earth(rock, sand, grass, mountain, valley, etc), Water(rain, snow, ocean, flood, etc), Wood(trees and all types of wood), Metal(iron, copper, gold, etc). If paying homage to these five elements makes you feel like a cultist, I can dig that. Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about your favorite concert going experience. Those always Rock! 9ne last thing before forge ahead. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. ¸¸♬·¯·♪·¯·♫¸¸ 𝓟𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓮 𝓡𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓭¸¸♫·¯·♪¸♩·¯·♬¸¸ |
