Come on in and make yourself at home! Can I get you somethang to drink? Coffee, tea, beer, wine, or perhaps a glass of ice cold water? If you are going to stay for a bit, you are more than welcome to join us for supper. We are having one of my favorites, Hamburger-O-Ketchup! With cheese of course. This doesn't have to be your house or mine, but any ordinary home will do. Just picture in your mind the things you see in a home. Objects, rooms, parts of the structure, and what have you. Then post tunes accordingly. Post songs with things you would find in a home in the title of the song, album name, or band/artist name. Yes, you can use these words out of context. If stopping by home and checking out what Rocks isn't what you want to do, I can dig that! Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Meaning, post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about your favorite rock concert experience. Those Rock the most! One last thing before we enter the house. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND

It's been awhile since we've had a thread featuring songs that tell a story. Take it where you will. I'll start things off with this one... Recommend! Hiya, Veegers! Welp, the weekend's gone and it's time to get yer butts outta those Juke Joints and start another week of drudgery. (BOO! HISS!) We here at VVV are gonna try to soothe your pain with some rousing Transportation Tuneage...songs about any way you can think of from gettin' from Point A to Point B! (Trains, boats, planes - everything up his nose! Oh, wait...sorry. Wrong train of thought.) I'm sure you know I meant everything from walking on up to a ride in a rocket, or even the mention of motion! Let's get started - I'm in a hurry! We're runnin' a wide Open Thread, so if you wanna play some Rock tunes other than the thread topic feel free to knock yerself out. Don't forget to stay in your own lane and follow our House Rules so we can all get where we're going with no problems. Juke Joint ~ A bar, tavern, or roadhouse featuring music played on a jukebox or live bands Juke Joint Jumpin' ~ Old school hipster slang for Bar Hopping. Welcome to The Triple V's Virtual Juke Joint. Grab a beer or a shot, and put a quarter in the juke box. Be sure to play your favorite songs. Recommend! Today we're gonna heat things up a little.......or a lot! What songs are you playing on date night with that someone special? What singers do you think exude hotness? Don't keep them to yourself. We all want some hotness so post your favorites. When's the last time you steamed up the windows in your car? What song was playing on the 8 track? LOL You can tell us. What happens at VVV, stays at VVV....

There are more rules posted but rule #1 is to have fun. Let's have a safe and fun weekend. Cast yer gaze upwards...what do you see?
It's all about what's over our heads...or how ya get there...
Keywords? Sure...why not...Up, Fly, Rise, Sun, Sky, Cloud, Moon, Star, Space, Dark, Black, Blue, Over, Above...and anything else that makes you think about that great big vast emptiness just up there. And if what's up ain't what you got going...then that's cool too. Just play what you've got going. Here at the V, we aim to please. Have fun, be respectful and ROCK THE HOUSE! Meaning post whatever rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, gifs, or pics. Tell us about your favorite rock concert you ever attended. Those rock the most! One last thing before we get to learnin'. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND “It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want... oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!” ~ Mark Twain “Now ’tis spring, and weeds are shallow-rooted; Suffer them now and they’ll o’ergrow the garden.” ~ William Shakespeare Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love! ~ Sitting Bull Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s party!” ~ Robin Williams Yes, spring is in the air. That is the theme tonight. Post songs that remind you of spring or songs that make you feel like spring. Or not. It's always an open thread at The Triple V. Please Recommend! Howdy, fellow Veegers. The 1970s were a fertile decade for Rock-N-Roll to say the least. Rock matured quickly thanks to the foundations of the 50s and 60s, and there was an explosion of new bands playing some good and very adventurous music. It branched out into Hard Rock, Southern Rock, Blues Rock, Progressive Rock, Glam/Performance Rock, Jazz/Rock Fusion, and finally Punk/Alternative Rock later on in the decade. There was something for everybody, along with the Top 40 hits too. Vinyl was still king, although 8-Tracks appeared (mainly for cars) and cassettes & reel-to-reels a few years later. Let's start whackin' away at the 70s...we have a lot of ground to cover. Of course it wouldn't be a thread if I didn't remind everyone it's an Open Thread, so if the 70s ain't your bag don't be afraid to put up some other Rock songs you'd like to share with us. Following our House Rules is strongly advised too, otherwise we'll send you to some other time and place, probably one you don't like. We can do that, you know. We have ways. Moo ha ha. You may have noticed we are now doing one ginormous thread that covers Friday night into Sunday night. This weekend at VVV we're lookin' and listen' to videos where 2 different bands or singers collaborate. There are some crazy ones out there that you would never think would get together. A prime example is Pavarotti Duets and in particular, one of my favorites. It's a Man's World sung by Pavarotti and James Brown. The two couldn't have come from more different backgrounds and clearly they have different styles. Truly good, timeless music can be performed by talented performers from any genre. Check out the absolute delight these singers take in each other's gift and the mutual respect that is obvious.. brings a tear to my eye....unless you think that is uncool and then it doesn't LOL ......but it really does sniff..... 😥😊 Ozzy & Lita--Just WOW!!!! Yes! I know it's not Christmas..... but i'm posting this one as an example of 2 people i never dreamed would get together.. If'n you're not into collaborations or duets, just post your favorite videos, pics and gifs......We'd love to see and hear them. Follow the house rules and rule number one is to have a good time!!!!! Feel free to sing along and dance--You know you want to! 😈 😇😈😇😈😇😈😇
