Whether 2019 was a good year for you or a bad one, it's coming to it's end. So, either way we are saying good bye today before we usher in the new year. I hope it was a good year for all, but if it wasn't then this is good news. So lets express our good byes in our music and bid 2019 farewell VVV style. In saying farewell to 2019, here are a few keywords for song titles to post: Close , Coda , Die , Done , End , Farewell , Finish , Good Bye , Last Act , Long Gone , Out of Time , Over , Pass Away , Send Off , Stop , Wind Down , etc. If saying good bye is not your thing, I can dig that. Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Post any Rock tunes you wish to share. Come on in and join the party. Say hello to some friends and enjoy the kickass tunes our Rock-A-Maniacs are laying down. One last thing before we give 2019 it's farewell tour. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. Hey everyone. Hope everyone had a good Christmas. A few months back I did a thread with a list of random keywords. Today I thought I would bust out a whole new list. The rules are easy - just find song titles that include one of the 20 words from my list. The key words are: Thank, Blue, Dance, Why, Lets, Someone/body, Right, Candy, New, Want, Shake, Moon, Snow, Cake, Evil, Morning, Book, Four, Me, and Pig. Make sure to remember that if you’re not into the whole idea, you’re always free to post whatever music you like (within guidelines, of course). Enjoy.
Ok kids, today we're gonna make it easy on ourselves because it's been a whirlwind week with all the special people having birthdays and parties and eating and drinking binges- I'm exhausted. We're talking the good, the bad and the ugly.. They know who they are!! We're posting songs and 'stuff' based on the words Good, Bad or Ugly. Songs that have Good , Bad or Ugly in the title or lyrics and bands who have them in their name. So, let's get the party started... As always, if ya don't like the theme, it's always open thread here so post your fave gifs, pics and videos, we would love to see and hear them....... Feel free to sing along and dance........YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO.... ;-)

Today we're givin' some love to the bands of Britain. We are so familiar with them we think of them as American but they hail from Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. We'll say goodbye for the most part to Christmas music for another year and jump right back into the mosh pit with some British rockers. The list is endless, Led Zep, Bowie, Beatles, Amy Winehouse, the Sex Pistols, the Who, Queen, Rod Stewart, Duran Duran, PJ Harvey, (some of-Fleetwood Mac), Kate Bush, Elton John, T Rex, Van Morrison, The Cure............phew!!! You get the idea. Let's get some rock n roll blastin' and as always if you don't like the theme, no worries cause we're always open thread. Feel free to sing along and dance off some of that food and drink you've been shoveling in your face the last week or so. I hope you all are enjoying a peaceful and joyous Christmas season and wish you all good things now and always. Peace Joy and Love to you all.

It's time to chill, eat some good food and share some love and laughter with friends and family whether you celebrate Hanukkah or Christmas or even Festivus for the Rest of Us. All good things to you and yours. Have a wonderful Christmas eve and Christmas . Grab some egg nog and cookies and sit by the fire. Hey everyone. Today we’re focusing on music from the 1960s. It was a time of social change and political awareness and all that usual stuff you always hear about. What fascinated me was the musical changes. Music from 1960 sounded nothing like music from 1969. The sounds changed, the lyrics changed, and most importantly, the hair changed. I know. If you’re not into music from that decade, have no fear, our open thread policy is here!! You can post what you like (within the guidelines, of course). Hope you all enjoy and Merry Christmas
Hey all! Looks like disqus hasn’t been working properly today. In other news, the sun rises in the morning! Hobbits have big feet! Today we’re going to just keep things chill. Our main topic tonight is that there is no topic. This is where I put special emphasis on open thread. As a secondary topic, post songs that have clothing mentioned in the title. Shirts, pants, boots, dresses....anything you can wear. Also, post pics of food that you like to eat on Christmas or during Christmas season. Enjoy!
Today we can be Royals - let's post songs by bands with the 'Queen' and 'King' in them or songs with those words in the lyrics. Prince and Princess and Lord and Lady will work too. If'n you don't like the theme that 'we' picked for today, it's open thread so no worries about being thrown into the dungeon for going off track. Post your favorites. Grab a bottle of Crown Royal, put on a crown or a tiara and let's get the party started! If you want to post Christmas tunes and videos, that's good too. Feel free to sing along and dance. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!!!!!! please recommend.
