Don't get caught with your pants down today, you might live to regret it. Instead of being the fool, prepare some pranks of your own. The ole rubber snake or spider trick, pulling the chair out from your buddies rear, or perhaps the bloody head injury prank. What ever you decide, prank or not, just dont let your guard down and play the fool. We are looking for songs about fools and the things that happen to them. To help us along with this idea, here are a few keywords: Act , Buffalo , Burn , Cheat , Clown , Deceive , Fake , Fool , Fox , Fun , Game , Hoax , Joke , Joker , Laugh , Lie , Make Believe , Monkey Around , Needle , Play , Prank , Pretend , Pull a Fast one , Sly , Sucker , Take for a Ride , Trick , etc. If you are not into pranks or playing the fool, I can dig that! Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Meaning, post any Rock videos you wish to share. So, come on in and check out all the killer tunes being posted by our resident Rock-A-Maniacs. Share some funny pics or stories for a laugh. Or just chill and say hello to some friends One last thing before we get started, please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND

Been feeling the need to blow off some steam with the world in lockdown, so a night of playing songs about the devil and his minions might be good for spirit, if not for the soul. Play songs with devils, demons and imps in the title or songs by bands with devilish names. Also songs with titles that include words like evil, wicked, sinful and bad. Let's not forget the Seven Deadly Sins... lust, greed, gluttony, envy, pride, wrath and sloth, or songs with words in the title that mean the same things... ... and songs about other sins, such as lying, cheating, thievery and murder most foul. Then there's that place where the devil lives. You know where I'm talking about. If the theme is a little too dark for you or you're in the mood for lighter fare, that's cool. Play whatever you want to hear. We'll enjoy that too. Please Recommend! Hey everyone. Thought I’d go with something easy and fun today. The 1960s and the 1990s were certainly 2 different decades, especially for music. Choose one of these decades to post music from. Or choose both. Doesn’t matter. We all like music here. If you hate music from both of these decades, then have no fear, because you’re not restricted to them. This is an open thread. Enjoy.
Howdy Triple V! I hope everyone is home safe and secure. Well friends, since most of the world is on lockdown and biding their time, I thought a thread about ways to measure time was in order! Seconds Days Never is the absence of time... If ya gotta kill time, what better way than by jammin' to good music and chillin' with good friends. Break out all the tunes you know that have something to do with time or days of the week. Not too tough a task... If yer new to Vintage Vinyl, make yourself at home! If yer a regular, then head back to my garage and grab the new guy a beer. And while yer at it...grab me one too! Triple V is our little Rock and Roll escape from reality but if you come across a tune that is outside the box, please feel free to share it. We do our best to keep an open mind. You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead—your next stop, Vintage Vinyl Video! What we need here is a good old fashioned hoe down, a hootenanny, a wing ding!! One of my favorite things in the world is a low country boil thrown on a bunch of newspapers on a big table outdoors and it's every seafood lover for his or herself. Nothing goes better with that than Southern Fried Rock and Blues. A few that we're all probably familiar with: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Bros, Zach Brown, Marshall Tucker Band, ZZ Top, Canned Heat, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Charlie Daniels, Kentucky HeadHunters, David Allan Coe, Hank Williams Jr. Alabama, Blackberry Smoke, Government Mule ..... so many..... but if'n Southern Rock or Blues isn't your thing, no problem! We're always open thread, so grab a crab and a beer and post your favorite songs, pics and gifs--we'd love to see them... Feel free to sing along and dance--Just don't be crabby!!!!! Welcome Friends! All over the world borders are being shut down. Everyone is being told to stay in place. Well if we can't physically visit foreign countries, we can bring them to us via music. Let's post songs from countries other than the one we reside in. Germany 1984 Japan South Africa In case you couldn't tell,
it's an OPEN THREAD. Everybody relax and have a good time! First of all. I hope all of ya'll are OK. Most are on lock down, and those of us that are still working are really feeling the strain. Right now, it's important to keep the blood flow pumping and here at Triple V, that's what we do best Gotta get up and move! Post up tunes that are about any type of body motion. Dance, Run, Fall, Move, Shake, Spin, Twist, Rock and Roll (OK, I snuck that in there, sue me). Point is, if we're stuck inside it doesn't mean we to stand still. While yer movin', just remember that we do have rules here. Don't laugh...we do. Play good songs and treat each other with respect. If you want to go off thread...well...that's OK too (within reason). It's about the music, not the thread. Peace! Ok all you Rock-A-Maniacs, lets have some fun tonight and maybe learn a fun fact or two. Even though knowing these facts won't make you rich, successful, or happy, but it just might make you feel a little better to know a little more about the world. Down below is a small list of fun facts. Tonights keywords are in Bold print. --All the water in Lake Superior would cover both North and South America in one Foot of water. -The Ottoman Empire still existed the last Time the Chicago Cubs won the World Series. -No word in the English language rhymes with Month, Silver, or Purple. -A Cat has thirty Two muscles in each Ear. -An ostrich's Eye is bigger than it's Brain. -Your Body contains about 100,000 Miles of Blood vessels. -It is Physically impossible for a Pig to look up at the Sky. -If scaling the Sun down to the size of a White Blood cell, the Milky Way would be the size of the U.S.A. If you have no place to put all this useless information because you are full of it yourself, I can dig that! Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Meaning post whatever Rock & Roll you wish to share. So come on in and say hello to some great people, check out all the killer tunes, and tell us about your concert going experiences or old stories about Rock. One last thing before we get started. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND We may all be stuck at home for the duration of this madness but we can still use music to travel in our imaginations. So let's post some songs about trains. That's my favorite way to travel. Or maybe you prefer to travel by boat or plane. That's cool too. A car or motorcycle? We can do that. Then there are those who just stick out their thumbs... As always, feel free to play something else if you don't like the theme. What counts is that you share some songs. Please Recommend Hey everyone. I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been getting a lot of rain lately. That’s how I came up with this revolutionary idea of doing a thread about water. Brilliant, right? RIGHT? Let’s post songs that mention water in the title. If you’re not into the idea, then I don’t know....post songs about about fire. Enjoy. :-)
