Welcome back to Joe's Garage! Hope everyone had a good week. So...what's a contradiction? Contradictions are words or terms that are in direct opposition of each other....WHAT? Too many longs words. Why do smart people always want to confuse things? This is easy...Yes, No, Can, Can't, Do, Don't. Will, Won't...heck...even Good and Bad...
The work week is over and it's time to sit back and relax with your favorite tunes...right here in the Garage!
I think by now, ya'll get the point. And if for some reason you want to drift off thread...well then...you don't have to worry...go for it! All we ask is that you post up good tunes and a funny gif or two. Maybe even chat for a bit with a pal. Oh yea...you know my golden rule. Treat each other with the same respect you expect for yourself. Alrighty then...please place your seatbacks and tray tops in their upright and locked positions. The captain will be heading to the runway momentarily... Joe's Garage is open for business! Courtesy of Vintage Vinyl Video.

Is the whole world going mad at once? Probably! If you've been feeling a little 'off' lately, it may just be Mercury Retrogade. Mercury has gone retrograde for the third time in 2022. During this stretch, which ends on Oct. 2, you may hear all sorts of things being blamed on the planet of communication's retrograde period, from technology mishaps to misunderstandings with friends and loved ones. It will take another week or so after the 2nd to truly get back to normal--whatever the hell that is! I say, let's go with feeling. Let's post songs about mad, crazy, insanity..... no shortage of that lately. Today we're embracing the crazy! TGIF!!!! If'n you don't like the theme, YOU"RE crazy but we're always open thread here on VVV so in that case, just post your fave tunes , follow the House Rules and we'll all have a good time. Feel free to sing along and dance, you know you want to.
Running hot or cold as ice? Walking in the sunshine or crying in the rain? As mellow as a gentle breeze or as fierce as a hurricane? It's all about the weather. Recommend!
This idea comes from a long time VVV Rocker and friend, Deacon Blues, and he deserves credit for first exposing us to this fun way of rockin'. Simple yet fun! Think of a song and then think of an ambiguous title by paraphrasing the title of said song. Now post the paraphrased title and everyone else will try to guess the song by posting their answer via music video. Example below: If someone posted this paraphrased title: "Escalator To Paradise" I would post this music video as the answer: "Stairway To Heaven" ......or...... Paraphrased title: Motown Jam Pavement Jungle Best guess: Detroit Rock City I hope I am doing Deacon Blues justice in my explanation of his idea and I hope everyone else is picking up what I am laying down. If playing games while getting your Rock on doesn't do it for you, I can dig that. Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Meaning, post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about one of your fondest memories of going to a live show. One last thing before the game begins. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND Hey there my friends, welcome back to Joe's Garage! Sorry to open so late, but better late than never. This weekend let's focus on singers. Do ya'll know who I'm talking about? The best vocalists we know, of course. The ones who's voice is instantly recognizable...
Anyone can cover a tune...but some voices just can't be duplicated... It's the weekend here at Triple V and that means it's time to hit the garage! So, grab a spot on the couch and make yourself at home. It's been a long week and we all deserve a break. Play some music, post up a funny gif or two and hang out. We'll keep the lights on and the doors unlocked. That being said...here it comes...Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... Joe's Garage is open! Courtesy of Vintage Vinyl Video! Two things are certain, 1. life is good and 2. we can't avoid death. That doesn't mean we cannot talk about the latter, read about it, write about it and sing about it. Songs about death don't have to be all gloom and doom and songs about life aren't always happy. Music comforts us in times of grieving but sometimes we can even mock life challenges and even death --and laugh at it . Alice Cooper made some pretty entertaining and even amusing little ditties about the subject of death. No shortage of songs about life either. So today, let's kick off the weekend by defying death and staring it straight in the face by posting songs about death; the sad ones, the ones that bring back good memories of people we miss and even the funny ones. We're also looking for songs about living large and enjoying life. If you don't like the theme, it's always open thread on Vintage Vinyl Video so just post your favorites from any theme as long as it makes you happy and it doesn't break the House Rules. FEEL FREE TO SING ALONG AND DANCE...YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO....
My favorite time of year begins today. Let's make the most of it. Post songs that remind you of autumn. And if you prefer one of the other seasons, that's cool too. Please Recommend! Well folks, these are the last two days of Summer. But, don't be sad. Think of it as a celebration of the great summer we had and hey, Summer's coming back next year. It's not like it's our last one. Lol Post songs that remind you of Summer, songs with keywords like sun, heat, rain, flowers, butterflies and all that jazz. Also post songs about things coming to an end, good or bad. Or simply let this take you wherever it takes you. If bidding farewell to Summer is too sad for you, I can dig that. Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Meaning, post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about your favorite Rock concert you have seen. One last thing before we say goodbye for now. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND Good evening, all! Welcome back to my Garage. Not sure about ya'll, but it was a rough week here, so I'm going with an easy one for the weekend. Just looking for tunes that have a basic personal pronoun in the title. You can see the list...right?
Tell you what...if you want to go off thread...then feel free. Play whatever you want. Seriously. The other day marked the birthday of Amy Winehouse. I know, not my normal fare...but I love her sound...so if you want to add all those artists that were lost too soon, so be it! I'm sure by now, you've come to notice that Joe's Garage is a just a place to share songs with friends. We keep the lights on and the back door unlocked so you have a safe haven to rock. After all, that's what music is all about. Are you ready? Let's open the Garage! Courtesy of Vintage Vinyl Video! Hi everyone... once again I am a little late posting my thread. No sense crying over spilled milk so lets get to some music. Today's theme is about crying. Time to wallow in some sad songs, the type that have you crying in your beer. Let it all out and tomorrow will be a better day, yes?edit. I hope you all laugh more than you cry. Today we listen to some good tunes and hang out with our fellow music lovers. If'n you don't fancy the theme, just post your favorite classic rock videos, pics and gifs. Follow the House Rules and we won't have to make you cry LOL. THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
