Tonight's theme is The Things That Scare People. Some of those things are obvious... Monsters, Ghosts or Axe Murderers to name a few. Other fears are kind of strange, such as the Fear of Music (Melophobia), the Fear of Bubbles (Ebulliophobia), the Fear of Gravity (Barophobia), or a Fear of Clowns (Coulrophobia). (Okay... Clowns can be kind of creepy.) Some poor souls are afraid of everything. It's called Panophobia. So use your imagination and play some good tunes... unless you suffer from Melophobia! Recommend!

Ok Batman, crank up the Bat Computer and generate us some rockin' random words. Once we receive word from the Bat Cave we will take those randomly generated words and use them to post loads of Rock tunes. Our randomly generated words for today are: Angel , Back , Color , Drive , Easy , Fall , Give , Heaven , Just , Knock , Lie , Mine , Need , Please , Ride , Still , Top , Water , Yesterday , Zero. Post songs that have a randomly chosen word in the title, band/artist name, or album name. If finding songs by way of random words aint you bag, I can dig that! Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Meaning, post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about your favorite Rock concert you have seen. One last thing before we get started. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND Good evenin' all and welcome back to Joe's Garage. I couldn't think of a better way to show my respect to one of the world's most revered leaders than to dedicate my thread to bands that come from across the pond...
Look at the facts...She sat on the throne for seventy years. 15 Prime Ministers, 14 US Presidents and 9 World Conflicts all occurred in front of the eyes of a lady that was 25 when she assumed the throne. Jeez...talk about seeing it all! And yet...she did it with grace. And since they have money with her portrait on it, let's throw in all the Canadian bands too!
Hang on. If you want go inna different direction this weekend...that's OK too! It's Garage time here at Triple V, so play whatever you want. Ya'll know how I feel. We're here to share great tunes and good times. The OP is nothing more than an idea. Sit back, kick off your shoes and relax. Chat with a few pals, post up some funny gifs...that's the whole point. Alright...ready or not...Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...Joe's Garage is open. Courtesy of Vintage Vinyl Video! Queen Elizabeth II died today at Balmoral surrounded by family. Imagine the historical events she had seen in 96 years. She handled things with a seemingly endless supply of grace which is rare in these times. Love her or not, you have to admit she had a sense of humor. Today we're looking for songs about royalty. Lords, Ladies, Kings, Queens, Princes and Princess... Bands with royal titles will do just fine as well. Let's start with Queen- My Fairy King If'n you don't like the theme that 'we' picked for today, it's open thread so no worries about being thrown into the dungeon or banished from our kingdom for going off track. Grab a bottle of Crown Royal, put on a crown or a tiara and let's get the party started!
It's an open thread tonight because I'm too busy to come up with something else! Think I'll start things off with this one... Recommend! Which way are you headed, at any moment of your day? You rise up out of bed every morning, then out through the door and head into work. Up to your office or down the road to the job site. Everyday we head into multiple directions throughout the day. Sometimes its the ultimate conundrum, which way should I go? The idea here is to post songs that have a sense of direction in the title of the song, artist/band name, or album name. To help us with this idea, here are a few Keywords to look for. Up , Down , Left , Right , North , South , Under , Over , Straight , Around , Forward , Back , Toward , Away , etc. If navigation isn't your strong suit, I can dig that! Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Meaning, post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about your favorite concert you ever saw. One last thing before we dive forward. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND Howdy all and welcome to our Triple V Labor Day Celebration. It's the last party of the summer and me and Steelie will be manning the grill. A little advice...get your order in early. After a few hours in the Garage...who knows what we'll serve up. LOL! It's a long weekend for most of us, so I'll make this easy. Take a good look at the letters... L A B O R D A Y Break out all the tunes you know that start with one of those letters
We'll be jammin' all through the holiday weekend so feel free to grab a spot on the couch and jam with us! Post up some good music and hang out! After all...What's a party without pals? The adult cooler is full and so is the...cough, cough...you know...hehehe Labor Day is considered the unofficial "end of the summer", so let's give summer a grand send off. And if you feel the need to play something off thread...then go for it. It's a Vintage Vinyl Video party and 'round these parts, the music is what's important, not the thread. OK...ready or not...(buckle up) Joe's Garage is open! Courtesy of VVV! We don't do politics but it has come to our attention more than once that there are a lot of people who claim they don't know the definition of 'woman'. Vintage Vinyl Video regulars do not have a problem with that obviously. So! Please post songs by women, for women and about women. You can never have enough tributes to women, yes? YES!. No shortage of fabulous talented women rockers so let's see your favorites... Kicking off the week with a tribute to women-it doesn't get better than that!!! Follow the House Rules and don't forget to hug the women in your life.. Peace, Love & Rock.. get ready for TGIF
