What was the last song you listened to? Last artist you saw live? Last cd you listened to? Last cassette you recorded? 8 - track? Last vinyl record album you listened to? Last song heard in the car? Last song you sang out loud? Last song you played for a loved one telling them how you felt?

'Ello luv! Hahaha...tonight let's pay homage to those Brit bands that we all love...
What could be easier? So many choices...let's see where the Mayflower lands... And don't worry if you don't feel my "English" groove tonight...just post up whatever tunes you want to jam to. Our committee will decide what gets played. HAHAHAHA! "Our committee" consists of rockers and rollers...and WE don't judge. We just ask that you respect the house rules...and have some serious fun. Seeing how its Garbage Man Day, Eat Your Veggie Day, Stewart's Root Beer Day, Apple Strudel and Cherry Tart Day, we are going to celebrate accordingly! We are looking to post songs with keywords in the title, album names, or band/artist names from these themes and words: Any Vegetable(tomato, potato, pepper, onion, etc), Any flavor or type of Dessert(cake, pie, custard, lemon, cherry, Ice Cream, etc), Garbage, Waste, Debris, Junk, Trash, Throw Away, Soda, Pop, Soft Drink, etc. If celebrating these silly National Days is not your bag, I can dig that! Do not fret, VVV is always an open thread. Meaning, post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. If you have any concert going or personal stories involving music, we'd love to hear them! One last thing before we get Rockin'. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules.
The theme tonight is shapes and the things they represent. For example, circles and wheels... ... which can represent karma, fate, destiny, the shape of things that were and the shape of things to come. What comes around goes around. Then there are squares, rectangles, triangles and cubes. Boxes and balls work too. Also stars, pentagrams and diamonds. And songs by bands that are named after shapes. As always, this is an open thread so feel free to play something else if you don't want to follow the theme. It's all good! Please Recommend! Good evening my friends. Another weekend in the books. I don't know about you, but this old wolf worked his ass off this weekend. I'm beat and that's no lie. It's time to relax and enjoy the few hours of "weekend" we have left. Rather than come up with a new thread, I thought it fitting to open the airwaves to what ya'll want to hear. Classic Rock preferred...but not mandatory. I'm way too tired to start enforcing rules, so please don't make me. Post up "your" songs...the ones that speak to you... I'll stick to my old standby...something I've been saying from the day I started "working" here..."If you want to play it, odds are someone wants to hear it!" Hey all! As the title suggests, today we are going to be appreciating the music we love, along with the music we.....don’t necessarily love. For every good song, post one you think is bad. Alternate or post together....doesn’t matter. We’re all just here to have fun and none of this is that serious. A lot of people have differing opinions on this song. What category would you put it in? Good or bad? If you just aren’t interested in this kind of topic, you are always free to just post the ones you like. Enjoy.
Hello my Rock and Roll friends! Today was a perfect "summer" day here. The sun was shining and it felt good! Let's pull out all the Summer Songs we know...
Places that make us think about Summer...
What would summer be without a little reggae...
Of course, throw in a healthy dose of some Parrot-head... It's our first summer shindig here at Triple V, so have some fun. Summer songs, drinking songs and of course dancing tunes (come on, you know you want to). After all, what's a summer party without dancing? And if by chance, you're not into the summer vibe I've put out, then just post up whatever you want to. It's all about the music! Call up all your pals and invite them to the party. When it comes to the 1970s and 1980's Rock n Roll bands and hair, size definitely mattered. The bigger the better. A few of the good ones that come to mind...Def Leopard, White Snake, Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, Skid Row, Kiss, Dokken, Europe, Van Halen, Slaughter, Poison, Aerosmith and on and on So, let's post some tunes from bands and singers with big hair and/or glam makeup from 1970s and 1980-ish and see how they 'measure up'. It was all about the hair and makeup and music. The 70's and 80's left us with some classic songs that still sound fresh today.. Crank that volume up to 13. If you aren't into the big hair and glam rock--What the hell is wrong with you???? LOL.. OK OK!! That's cool too, just post whatever music you like, we would love to hear it. As long as we're all having a good time and not breaking the house rules it's all good!
.........thanks for stopping by Triple V and being part of our 24-7, 365 days a year party!!!! Peace Love and Rock!!! It's been a long week and I'm sure everyone just wants to sit back and relax and play some tasty sounding tunes. No sweat trying to figure out what songs to play...........PLAY EM ALL!
It's OPEN THREAD AGAIN! Howdy, my friends. I hope everyone is feeling good. In fact, that's tonight's thread, kinda. Songs about the opposite of feeling good. Sometimes, sickness is in the brain... Let's throw in all the tunes about those that help us get better...
