TGIF! Today at VVV we're lookin' and listen' to videos where 2 different bands or singers collaborate. There are some crazy ones out there that you would never think would get together. A prime example is Pavarotti Duets and in particular, one of my favorites. It's a Man's World sung by Pavarotti and James Brown. The two couldn't have come from more different backgrounds and clearly they have different styles. Truly good, timeless music can be performed by talented performers from any genre. Check out the absolute delight these singers take in each other's gift and the mutual respect that is obvious.. brings a tear to my eye....unless you think that is uncool and then it doesn't LOL ......but it really does sniff..... 😥😊 Ozzy & Lita--Just WOW!!!! Yes! I know it's not Christmas yet..... but i'm posting this one as an example of 2 people i never dreamed would get together.. If'n you're not into collaborations or duets, just post your favorite videos, pics and gifs......We'd love to see and hear them. Follow the house rules and rule number one is to have a good time!!!!! Feel free to sing along and dance--You know you want to! 😈 😇😈😇😈😇😈😇

Oh to be young and dumb again! Okay, maybe not, especially that dumb part. Still, there is something special about the music we loved when we were tweens, teens and twenty-somethings... when we were under thirty! So take a trip down memory lane and play the music of your youth. Also songs about being young. Not feeling particularly nostalgic? That's okay. Just pretend you're younger than you really are and play some newer tunes! It's all good. Recommend! I don't know about you guys, but I am off to a rough start this week and am ready for the weekend already. Between working overtime this past weekend, then coming home to do yardwork, to hosting a Sunday football watchin" chili eatin' booze drinkin' blowout, then right back to work! Whew, I need a break. The idea here today is, that there is no idea. No thinking or work to do. It's a free-for-all! Post any and all Rock tunes want. Ok, no muss, no fuss. Can you dig it? Besides posting whatever Rock tunes you would like to share, post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about one of your favorite concert experiences. Those always rock! One last thing before we open the doors. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND Hello my friends and welcome back to my Garage! It's that time of year again when we "set the clocks back". It's also the unofficial midpoint of the Fall. The summer heat is behind, the winter cold is ahead and Mother Nature blesses us with Her change. Let's honor Her with songs and bands with one of the Fall colors...Yellow, Gold, Orange, Red, Green and Brown...
While yer at it, throw in all the ones with any of the other colors you can think of..
Now that we've established the terms...let's just toss them aside! After all...here at Triple V, we value the tune over the thread. Just play whatever you've got going. We're here to share songs and relax. Maybe a funny gif if you have any. After that...it's all good. Now...are you ready? Another weekend at Joe's Garage is ready to begin. Courtesy of Vintage Vinyl Video. Love and hate can be such strong and excruciatingly painful emotions that they at times threaten to consume us and destroy our lives. We are certain we are going to die without that person and yet most of us survive to ask ourselves later "what the hell was i thinking?", and yes most of us jump right back into the fire to risk it all because of course, it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved, or so they say. We have all experienced love and hate and hopefully you have had more love than hate. Today let's throw down some tunes about love and hate and everything in between - Let's get the love & hate fest started, shall we? As always if you do not like the theme, what the heck is wrong with y'all?? LOL. In that case, just post whatever music, videos and gifs you like since it is always open thread her on VVV. **FEEL FREE TO SING ALONG AND DANCE.........YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!
Tonight's theme refers to those fantastic and phantasmic beasts known as Cryptids... beasts that have never been proven to exist although some believe they may be real. This includes the Jersey Devil, the Michigan Dogman, the Minnesota Iceman, Sasquatch, Batsquatch, Dingbats, Dragons, Melon Heads, the Ozark Howler, Mongolian Death Worms, Jackalopes, the Mothman, the Kraken, the Loch Ness Monster, Thunderbirds, Unicorns and Chupacabras. We'll include those humanoid creatures from Folklore and Fairy Tales... Elves, Fairies, Sprites, Leprechauns, Dwarves, Trolls and Gnomes... ... and fantastic beasts from Mythology such as The Gorgons, Satyrs, Centaurs, Cerebus, the Cyclops, Pegasus and The Minotaur. And just for fun, let's include those fantastic and phantasmic beasts of Spook Show fame... Werewolves and Vampires, the Phantom of the Black Lagoon, King Kong and Godzilla. Not in the mood for freaky creatures? That's cool. Just play your favorite songs. Recommend!
As the battle between Good and Evil rages on, both sides are trying to claim souls of mankind. Many believe that most of us will end up in Purgatory for punishment and to atone for our sins in an effort for the right to ascend into Heaven or to be damned for eternity. Please, this is not a discussion of religion. We are merely recognizing National Souls Day as a theme for our musical addictions. The idea here is to post songs about Good and Evil and the fight for our souls. About Life and Death and everything involved. No need for keywords to look for, because we already have them. If rockin' out in Purgatory isn't your idea of a good time, I can dig that. Do not fret! VVV is always an open thread. Meaning, post whatever Rock tunes you wish to share. Post funny memes, pics, or gifs. Tell us about your favorite Rock concert you have experienced. Those always Rock! One last thing before we stand judgement. Please have fun and follow VVV's Golden Rules. PLEASE RECOMMEND |
