The Peace and Love Era gave us a magic bus load of great music from talented artists. The Who, The Stones, Cream, Elvis, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Beach Boys, The Doors, Aretha Franklin, The Kinks, Ray Charles, The Animals, CCR, Grateful Dead, James Brown, Smokey Robinson, The Righteous Bros., The Shirelles and Ike and Tina Phew! You get the idea. I am not sure if it was the drugs or not but the creativity of musicians and artists was at an all time 'high'. Back when 'lay it on me" and 'give me some skin" meant totally different things than they do today and a troll was a doll with hair like Don King. The people were groovy and the music scene was outta sight!!!!! Of course, most of those flower children have grown up to become the establishment they once rejected but we can still enjoy the good vibes from the musical gold they left behind. As always the theme is a jumping off point so if you're not diggin' the 1960's theme, that's a bummer but you can just play whatever turns you on. We would love to hear it. Peace!!! Feel free to sing along and dance.. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!
