We usually wait until the end of the year to post a thread honoring those musicians who have passed on, but the list of those who have left us has grown so long that one thread a year isn't enough to do them justice. The inspiration for this thread was the discovery of a 2016 release of live recordings by one of my favorite guitarists, Johnny Thunders, who is best known as a founding member of the New York Dolls. The recordings are from 1978 and 1979, with Thunders fronting for several bands, including one called The Living Dead. Rock 'N' Roll, baby! Be sure to post a few songs about ghosts. Ten points for posting a song about ghosts by an artist who gave up his (or her) ghost. Like this... If you'd rather post songs by those who still walk among us, we won't complain. It's always an open thread at The Triple V. Recommend!
